Christian Formation Ministries
Youth Formation
The Church School is headed by the Director of Youth Christian Formation who plans for, recruits and supports the following volunteers. Contact Susan MacDonald for any information regarding the opportunities below, or email the Christian Formation Department.
Teachers
teach each Sunday morning. Classes for students in grade 3 through senior high meet from 9:00am-9:45am. Children in pre-school, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade meet for class at 10:00am, and enter the worship service for the Eucharist at 10:45am. There are no church school classes on Youth Ministry Sunday, the second Sunday of the month.
Substitute Teachers
are occasionally needed and will be called in the event of a teacher's absence or when extra hands are called for in the classroom.
Pre-Communion Preparation Class
that prepares 3rd graders for receiving the Sacrament, culminating in a corporate communion on a designated Sunday.
Confirmation Teacher

Resource Assistants

Organizing Service Projects

Leaders/Chaperones
offer adult guidance at special youth events and trips.
Journey to Adulthood (J2A)
